
Aleksandar Nikolic / Bandoneon
Aleksandar Nikolic – “Alex Beltango” is the founder and artistic director of Beltango Quinteto. His passion for tango made him the first bandoneonist in the Balkans.
As a soloist, he has performed with major orchestras including the Belgrade Philharmonic, Zagreb Soloists, and the Macedonian Philharmonic.
Alex has served as professor and director of the State Music Conservatorium in Belgrade.

IVANA NIKOLIC / PIANO & VOCAL
Ivana Nikolic graduated from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in 1998, piano department under Prof. Tijana Humo, and in 2001 she also completed her studies in solo singing under Prof. Aleksandra Ivanovic.
ANTONIJA BARNA / VIOLIN
Born in 1990 in Novi Sad, Serbia, Antonija Barna has been immersed in music since early childhood. She studied at the High School “Isidor Bajić” before completing both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. Her artistry was further shaped through international masterclasses and collaborations with diverse chamber ensembles and orchestras.
BOGDAN PEJIC / GUITAR
Born in 1981 into a family of cellists, Bogdan Pejić discovered his passion for the guitar at an early age, first exploring acoustic and electric guitar before dedicating himself to classical guitar. He began his studies with professor Dejan Sazdanović in Paraćin, continued at the Music School “Kosta Manojlović” in Zemun, and later graduated from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, in the class of professor Srđan Tošić (2007). During this time, he won numerous awards at national guitar competitions.
PETAR HOLIK / DOUBLE BASS
Born in 1985, Petar Holik began studying double bass at the age of eleven. He graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and completed his master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich.
