For the Friday night gala concert at the 10th World Harmonica Festival in Trossingen Hohner has put together a wide ranging program featuring four of today´s finest harmonica artists, offering a fascinating cross section of the stylistic range of the diatonic harp in the blues and beyond.

Steve Baker will play the last concert of the anniversary World Harmonica Festival with his long-standing band ‘The LiveWires’. A tight trio of bass, guitar and drums, they are no strangers to Trossingen and have regularly garnered high praise as accompanists at the Harmonica Masters Workshops.
Jeff Walker from London is a rock-solid bass player who has toured with harp legends such as Magic Dick, James Harman or Billy Branch and performed regularly with British jazz and blues singer Dana Gillespie.
Guitarist Jan Mohr has worked with numerous well known names on the German blues scene and is renowned for his biting tone, creative solo playing and cool sounds.
After graduating from the Hamburg School of Music and the Musikschule Osnabrück, Henri Jerratsch went on to study drums at the University of New Orleans and currently appears with Kai Strauss and his Electric Blues Allstars.
The LiveWires are groove masters who love what they do and display an impressive stylistic range.
This is not just another concert. It’s a night where history breathes again. The blues lives in Trossingen.
