PROPOSITIONS PÉDAGOGIQUES
The following dates have been set:
- 13 to 15 March 2026 Julien: Singer, percussionist, guitarist, and accordionist Julien Bouchon is passionate about Creole music (séga, vallenato, quadrille, etc.). He spent time in Louisiana dancing and learning Cajun and Zydeco music. He plays Zydeco with the sextet Turbo Zarico, among others.
The group will endeavour to master this magnificent instrument by approaching it from different angles.
Bellows control, touch, hand independence, keyboard memorisation, ornamentation… Fun with rhythms, vocally, physically and then instrumentally, explore the paths of harmony, perfumed with chords and scales, venture to develop our ear, teaching it discernment.
Yes, most of the learning will be done without sheet music, except in the most delicate moments. Over the course of the sessions, we will develop a toolbox that will enable us to learn independently. The days will be organised by alternating between group work, small groups, tutoring and individual work.
We will put together a small common repertoire with a Creole and traditional flavour. The repertoire worked on may nevertheless be adapted along the way according to the wishes of the trainees.
The days will be organised by alternating between group work, small groups and individual work, depending on requirements.
