BrÒg – Sandy Brechin Trio
“ If you want to hear what an accordion can do in the right hands, put it in the right and left hands of Sandy Brechin. ” – The Living Tradition
Sandy Brechin from Edinburgh is the “gold standard” of Scottish accordion virtuosity, known for his breathtakingly fast playing and quirky humor on stage. With the legendary border piper, flautist, singer and guitarist Gary West from Pitlochry, we hear a highly decorated veteran of the Scottish scene! Being named “Instrumentalist Of The Year 2023” by the British FATEA magazine is a great honor in the life of a musician. Fiddler Gavin Marwick from Edinburgh now has exactly that on his CV.
