La Nuit du Folk de GAP 2025: 21, 22 and 23 March 2025

The Gap Folk Night is a major annual event in the world of traditional music and dance.

It is organised by the Trad’Union association, and brings together the energies of many of the department’s players and associations working to maintain and develop folk culture.

It takes place in Gap and the surrounding area, and over the last few years has brought together more than a thousand dancers around top-quality music groups.

Programme highlights:

Friday 21 March: Pre-party concert/ball at the My Beers bar in Gap with Kloog, followed by a jam session.

Saturday 22 March: Morning – Beef ball on the Gap market with the Conservatoire à rayonnement intercommunal du Briançonnais.

Afternoon – Singing, violin, diatonic accordion and dance workshops – Children’s ball – A ball adapted for people with disabilities, open to all.

Evening – Grand ball from 8.30pm to 3.30am, followed by a jam session until 5am with (in no particular order): Clume, Tref, Trio Bonnin Campino Sirote, Groove Factory and Duo Supernovas.

Sunday 23 March: Walk, picnic and dance at the Château de Tallard with Queyras factory
