The 2026 Banterfest SouthWest folk festival will be held in the SouthWest of England from May 8th to 11th, 2026, organised by the Banter band.

The band consists of Simon Care (melodeon & concertina), Nina Zella (keyboards & vocals), Tim Walker (drums, percussion, brass, guitar, bass & vocals) and Mark Jolley (bass, fiddle, guitar & vocals).

“The weekend will feature up close and intimate concerts from some of the biggest A-list artists in the folk world in the wonderful Teign Valley Community Hall nestled in the idyllically rural Teign Valley village of Christow, Devon, right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.”

The event will include a variety of performances, singing, dancing, sessions, workshops, camping and great food.
