WMAS (Washington Metropolitan Accordion Society) presented bandoneon virtuoso Emmanuel Trifilio as their guest artist on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 4:PM, at Sleepy Hollow United Methodist Church, 3435 Sleepy Hollow Road, in Falls Church, Virginia.

Emmanuel, who is originally from Argentina, played a solo concert for the first hour and then lead a workshop on tango interpretation. Bring your accordions!

Emmanuel Trifilio, bandoneon, discovered a bandoneon in a second-hand shop in his native Argentina, launching his love affair with tango. A Grammy-nominated composer, Emmanuel has performed at Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, and with orchestras throughout the USA and Cuba.
